Writers Workshop is all about learning how to write. We will study the following Genres during the course of this school year:
* Narrative* Fictional* Persuasive
* Report
* Response to Literature
* Authors Study - Eric Carle
Skills Block is when we put into practice a lot of the skills that we are learning in order to read and write. We will learn about rhyming words, opposites, positional words, sequencing, beginning sounds and ending sounds, sight words, blending and segmenting words along with a whole lot of other skills.
Over the course of this year, I will post weekly what we are doing in class. Check back here often to find out what your child is working on.
